From the Southwest Zeeland, past the dunes of Holland, beside the dikes of Friesland and the Wadden Islands then onto the Dollard in Northeast Groningen, over 700 photos combine with informative text to tell the story of how the Dutch people have co-existed with the North Sea.

The journey is presented from a hiker's perspective - all of the views are readily accessible to anyone motivated to take a walk along the coast.
